First, we get to see the new Steve Vai UV77REMC has a five-piece maple neck, basswood body, rosewood fingerboard and DiMarzio Blaze pickups. Next, we get to see the new RGD models, which feature three-piece maple necks, basswood body and bound rosewood fingerboards. These guitars are specifically made with the drop-tune player in mind. Lastly, we have the Ashula fret/fretless bass. This unique bass has a jatoba/ bubinga neck, light ash body, rosewood fingerboard and features the Mono-Rail IV bridge system. Also, it comes loaded with the Sonic Arch and Sonic Arch mini pickups. In the fourth installment of Reunion Blues’ Vintage Guitars Road Show, the guys hit up Bananas at Large in San Rafael, California. Highlights include: * A super-clean Valley Arts Custom Shop Robert Johnson commemorative acoustic guitar from 1995, complete with Robert Johnson accessories and documentation * A pre-war Gibson acoustic that, despite being heavily modified and bearing the scars of its age, is still appraised in the low thousands * A 1968 Framus 5/103 Romanze teardrop acoustic * The first look at the original production prototype of the Peavey T60 from 1977.

* The single prototype of Fender’s Gold Custom Shop Strat. There was a limited run of 100, which was commissioned for NAMM’s 100th anniversary in 2001.
